Clippers rookie Yanic Konan Niederhäuser has been selected for the 2026 Rising Stars event, representing the San Diego Clippers on the seven-player G League roster.

The annual showcase of top young players will compete in a mini-tournament with four teams and three games spotlighting the league’s top rookies and second-year standouts. The tournament will be played on Friday, Feb. 13, as part of All-Star Weekend at the Intuit Dome.

The new format will have three teams of seven, while the G League players will make up the fourth.

The 22-year-old Niederhäuser, a 7-footer out of Penn State, has appeared in nine games (all starts) for the San Diego Clippers, averaging 14.7 points on 48-of-84 shooting (57.1%), 9.9 rebounds, 2.4 blocked shots, and 27.8 minutes.

The Swiss center has posted four double-doubles and has scored in double-figures in all nine games with San Diego. Niederhäuser had a season-high 18 points and 16 rebounds on Dec. 9 against the Valley Suns.

In his first season, Niederhäuser has appeared in 25 games for the NBA’s Clippers, averaging 3.6 points and 2.2 rebounds. He has scored in double figures twice and collected a career-high 10 rebounds on Jan. 1 against the Utah Jazz.
